After Tuesday's big step forward, it was hoped that they could build on that the rest of the way in the remaining regular season games. Instead, they took another couple backwards tonight.

After big win, consistency is the goal for Flyers
It seems sometimes like Philadelphia needs to have their backs up against the wall before their intensity level rises to the position necessary for them to acheive postseason success. Flyers fight off Pens for first, set team mark for road wins
With the Pittsburgh Penguins making a late-season charge and having a chance to tie for the Atlantic Division lead, the Philadelphia Flyers needed a huge effort. And that's just what they got Tuesday night, as Philadelphia overcame two one-goal deficits to come back for a 5-2 victory at CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh. With the win the Flyers set a franchise record with their 25th road victory.
