Nino Niederreiter Is The Real Deal
NHLHS New York Islanders Correspondent Anthony Curatolo profiles New York Islanders 2010 first round selection Nino Niederreiter.
After attending the Islanders prospects scrimmage and skills competition on Saturday July 10, 2010, one thing stood out in my mind.
No, not the 5,000 plus crazed Islanders fans who showed up when the organization only expected 1,500. No, not that fact that it was hockey in July.
What stood out the most to me was the impressive performance and character of New York Islanders first round draft pick, fifth overall mind you, Nino Niederreiter.

Atlantic Division Draft Review
NHLHS Corrospondent Mike Murangi, who covered the draft for NHLHS, breaks down the Atlantic Division in his draft review.
Atlantic Division Draft Review:
Coming to Los Angeles, two Atlantic Division teams did not have first round picks. The New Jersey Devils sent their pick to the Atlanta Thrashers in the Ilya Kovlchuk deal, and the Flyers traded their pick to the Anaheim Ducks in the Chris Pronger deal.
One trade worked; one did not.
In this article, I will review the first-round pick or top pick for each of all five Atlantic Division teams, and late-round picks that may be gems. I will release each of the other five divisions over the next few days. I would love to hear feedback about what you think, or if you have a question about your favorite team please email me at MMurangi@nhlhotstove.com .

Why?
