You should know the Penguins are definitely planning on having Staal move into a top 6 spot, so he’ll be playing with Malkin, most likely. At least that’s what I’ve heard from Ray Shero… Who knows how long they’ll stick to that plan though.
2nd line combination would most definitely be Malkin, Staal and Talbot. If Talbot does not perform to expectations, Bylsma will bring in Dupuis or Conner, Jeffries from the Ahl.
