Flyers’ Founder Snider Elected to U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame
The man responsible for bringing the National Hockey League to Philadelphia in 1967 by creating the Flyers franchise is taking his rightful spot in the United States Hockey Hall of Fame. Ed Snider, the founder of the Orange-and-Black, will enter the U.S Hockey Hall of Fame with defensemen Chris Chelios, Gary Suter, forward Keith Tkachuk, and broadcaster Mike Emrick.
