Flyers 5-2 Victory Over Lightning Could be Costly Win

The Flyers beat the Tampa Bay Lightning, 5-2 tonight, but there should be a guarded enthusiasm that goes along with the victory. NHL leading scorer Claude Giroux and goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov each left the game early with injuries.

Flyers fight off Pens for first, set team mark for road wins

With the Pittsburgh Penguins making a late-season charge and having a chance to tie for the Atlantic Division lead, the Philadelphia Flyers needed a huge effort. And that's just what they got Tuesday night, as Philadelphia overcame two one-goal deficits to come back for a 5-2 victory at CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh. With the win the Flyers set a franchise record with their 25th road victory.
